Set to the hypnotic rhythm of “Carmenita” by Claude Challe. Classic unfolds as a dialogue between operatic melody and contemporary beat. The performance begins on land, where dancers appear in semi-transparent, airy capes adorned with beads, sequins and crystals forming intricate motifs. As the operatic melodies rise, the capes move rhythmically with the dancers, creating a dreamlike spectacle of fluid motion and light. Beneath the flowing layers, hand-embroidered swimsuits shimmer subtly. As the beat intensifies, the dancers enter the water, transforming the atmosphere into a powerful synchronised swimming crescendo where elegance meets dramatic force.
