The Naiads team (“Naiads”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a professional synchronised (artistic) swimming team providing entertainment and performance services for events, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you entrust to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect through the website naiads.gr (the “Website”), how we use it, who we may share it with, and what your rights are under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Greek law (Law 4624/2019).

  • Contact details you submit yourself: when you fill in the Website’s contact form, send us an e-mail, or contact us by phone, we collect your full name, e-mail address, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message.

  • Details about your event: information you provide to us for the planning of a performance or service (e.g. date, location, type of event, thematic preferences), in the context of preparing a quote or contract.

  • Browsing data: technical information collected automatically during your visit to the Website (IP address, browser type, device, pages visited), through cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 6.

The Website is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors under the age of 15 without the consent of the person exercising parental responsibility.

 

3. Purposes and legal bases of processing

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Responding to enquiries and quote requests submitted through the contact form, e-mail, or phone (legal basis: taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

  • Contacting you with updates about our services, provided you have given us your consent (legal basis: consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time).

  • Improving the operation and security of the Website (legal basis: our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

  • Complying with our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements (legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

 

4. Recipients of the data

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Access to it may be granted only to:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf as data processors (e.g. the Website’s hosting provider, our e-mail service provider), bound by appropriate contractual obligations of confidentiality and security.

  • Partners involved in delivering your event (e.g. collaborating fireworks crews), only to the extent strictly necessary.

We retain your data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected: contact messages for up to 24 months from the last contact; contract-related details for the duration of our collaboration and thereafter for as long as required by tax and other legal obligations; and data based on consent until that consent is withdrawn. After the above periods have elapsed, the data is securely deleted or anonymised.
